The sugar mango is in high demand as a fresh fruit outdoors due to its small size, fruits with weights from 90 gr to 150 gr or more, little fiber, good aroma when it begins to ripen and extra sweet flavor. In Colombia it is mainly produced on the Atlantic Coast, it has two harvests a year, the main one is produced from May to approximately August and the second harvest from December to January.
