Figs are fruits between 6 and 7 cm long and 4.5 to 5.5 cm in diameter although sizes may vary according to variety. It is covered by a thin skin that give color to its exterior and according to each variety are colored from green, purple or black. The pulp contains high energy content, is fleshy and intense sweet taste.
